South Korean singer, actor and SHINee member Choi Minho is in Manila for his first solo fan meeting called 2023 BEST CHOI'S MINHO: LUCKY CHOI'S IN MANILA which was held at the Mall of Asia Arena, Saturday, January 28.
This is my first time attending and covering an event under Ovation Production and it's very nice to see friends from the media who covered the event. Our call time for media registration is from 5 PM to 7 PM as the show will start at 8 PM. I am also covering the event under KDramaDiary and HelloKpop.
I really like the media spot where we can take photos of the event as it is not that far. We were allowed to sit as well and take photos in the VIP area.
The event started exactly at 8 PM and the fans started to cheer when Choi Minho appeared on the stage to perform his song 'Heartbreak' from his debut album "Chase".
This is Minho's first solo fan meeting outside Korea. SHINee's lead dancer greeted the fans "Hello Philippines! Long time no see". The last time Minho visited the country was in 2017 for the "One K 2017 Global Peace Concert".
The next segment is called "Lucky Box" where Minho interacted with a lucky fan, asked to wear a Barong then dance to "Pandanggo".
The segment also showed his acting skills as he reenacts scenes from "Alchemy of the Souls" and "Descendants of the Sun".
After a short break, SHINee's lead dance came back on stage and performed "Runaway", and "Chase" followed by a SHINee medley.
Minho was also asked to dance Sarah Geronimo's "Dati Dati".
For his last song, Minho sang "I'm Home". He also promised to comeback with the other SHINee members.
