Cleveland Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton and WNBA Legend Ticha Penicheiro is currently in Manila to coach top Filipino youth ballers aged 13-14 at the 2019 Jr. NBA Philippines.
The annual event will start with a training camp on May 18 at Don Bosco Makati and the top selected athletes will be compete in the exhibition game at SM Mall of Asia Music Hall on May 19 where both Sexton and Penicheiro will also attend and help select the top five boys and girls from the 80 finalist.
We had a scheduled interview for both guest as they will be visiting ABS-CBN and we were provided time to have an exclusive interview with both Collin Sexton and Ticha Penicheiro.
Collin Sexton
Selected eight overall in the 2018 NBA Rookie Draft, Collin Sexton has a good future ahead in the league as he averaged 16.6 points, 3 rebounds and 2.8 assist per game in his rookie year with the Cavs.
Ticha Penicheiro
Named as one of the top 15 WNBA Players of All Time, Ticha Penicheiro played in the WNBA for 15 solid seasons in three different teams (Monarchs, Sparks and Sky)
