NewJeans at the Coke Studio PH 'Ultimate Fandom Concert'

When Coca-Cola announced that NewJeans would headline the Coke Studio PH event, I felt excited as this is my first time watching and seeing them live since I wasn't able to attend the 2023 AAA Awards last year.

It was a rainy Thursday, and fortunately, the storm weakened, and the concert went ahead. 'The Ultimate Fandom Concert' was held at the jam-packed Mall of Asia Arena on September 5, 2024.

Coke Studio Philippines brings together local artists from different genres to collaborate and showcase Filipino music.

AC Bonifacio and Jeremy G hyped up the venue as the amazing hosts of the event. They joined in the games and engaged with the artists and crowd.

P-pop boy group Alamat kicked off the event by performing their hits including "Maharani," "Day and Night," "Noli," and "Dayang."

Filipino rapper Nik Makino performed his hit songs "Sipag Lang," "You Are Beautiful," "Moon," "Sobrang Solid," and "We Made It," making the crowd sing along with him.

The first collaborative performance of the night was Alamat and Nik Makino performing live for the first time. They performed "Ngayong Gabi."

Rising Filipino hip-hop artist Illest Morena was the next artist to perform. This was my first time watching and listening to her, and I enjoyed the songs she performed, including "Munchies," "Sabik," and "Slow Burn."

Former The Voice Philippines finalist and actor Kyle Echarri performed his songs "Pangako," "Dyosa," "Cupid's Aim," and "Panaginip."

The final collaboration for the evening is the beautiful song "Believe," which was performed admirably by Illest Morena and Kyle Echarri.

The crowd began cheering when Filipino hitmaker Zack Tabudlo performed his songs "Nangangamba," "Pano," "Fallin'," and "Give Me Your Forever."

I always enjoy listening to Zack Tabudlo's songs and watching him perform live. The first time I saw him was last year at the Zarks Fest 2023.

The moment that attendees are waiting for is seeing NewJeans perform live.

Minji, Haerin, Hyein, Hanni, and Danielle greeted the crowd and performed "Hype Boy," "How Sweet," and "Bubblegum."

I am a bit sad that they did not perform "Ditto" and "OMG." Hopefully, they can have a solo concert in Manila soon.

I would like to say thank you to friends who helped us and making it possible for us to be part of this event.

It was an amazing event, and it is nice to see friends who also watched and covered the event.
