KFC Kentucky Town Music & Arts Festival 2024

Thankful that I got another paid gig covering the KFC Kentucky Town event, which took place on May 18, 2024, at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.

The musical event featured the top local artists, including Parokya ni Edgar, Zack Tabudlo, Adie, Juan Karlos, KAIA, Alamat, Nobita, and Rob Daniel.

After work, I rushed to the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds because our call time was 12 noon. Fortunately, there wasn't much to do when I arrived around 1 p.m. to meet the team.

It was a very hot Saturday, and we were expecting the crowd to enter the venue by 4 p.m. The event was scheduled to start at exactly 6 p.m.

I was asked by my former schoolmate, Ann, to photograph for their team. I also invited my fellow photographer friend, JJ, and we were assigned to cover the main stage.

We were asked to take photos of the rehearsals of some of the artists and then capture images of some of the attendees at the event.

ROB DENIEL

The singer-songwriter performed his hits, including  "Romcom," "Sinta," and "Miss Miss."

KAIA

The rising P-pop group dominated the stage with their amazing vocal and dance choreography when they performed "Dalawa," "Turn Up," and "You Did It."

ALAMAT

Another P-pop group on the rise has made their presence felt with their harmonious and amazing songs, including "Maharani," "Dayang," and "Dagundong."

NOBITA

Rocking the stage is the Filipino band Nobita, who serenaded the crowd with their classics including  and "Ikaw Lang."

PAROKYA NI EDGAR

Filipino icon band Parokya Ni Edgar entertained the crowd with their funny jokes and amazing performance. 

They dominated the stage when they performed their hit songs "Silvertoes," "Gitara," "Bagsakan," and "Your Song."

ADIE

Filipino solo artist Adie had the fans singing along with him when he performed his hit songs  and "Paraluman."

JUAN KARLOS

Another highlight of the event is the performance by Juan Karlos and his band. They performed the hit songs "Ere," "Demonyo," and "Buwan."

ZACK TABUDLO

The main performer for the night is Zack Tabudlo, who didn't disappoint the fans who were waiting for him.

Zack serenaded the fans with his songs "Give Me Your Forever," "Gusto," "Binibini," and "Paano."

It was an exhausting event due to the heat, and the music festival ended around 12:30 AM. I thoroughly enjoyed covering the show and witnessing the incredible live performances.

I was able to bump with artist AC Bonifacio and the Hermoso twins from KAIA.
