South Korean actor Hwang Min-hyun is in the Philippines for his first solo concert titled "Unveil in Manila," which will take place on October 8, 2023, at the New Frontier Theater.
A day before his mini concert, there will be a press conference at Novotel Manila for the actor to meet the members of the press and selected fans. I have watched and am a big fan of the drama series "Alchemy of Souls," and Hwang Min-hyun is one of the main characters in this popular K-drama.
I was chosen to be a photographer and represent Kdramadiary and Hellokpop sites to cover the event. I worked alongside Cesca, a fellow sports photographer and K-drama enthusiast, to cover the event.
Registration started at 4 PM, and the press conference started at 5 PM. The hotel ballroom is filled with excitement as fans eagerly await the arrival of the South Korean actor.
Host Kring Kim interviewed the talented actor, and he sincerely answered the questions, much to the delight of the fans.
Hwang Min-hyun expressed his desire to visit Boracay, a renowned destination in the Philippines. He also mentioned that he would like to capture a photo with the sunset and share it with his fans.
When it comes to his personal life, the actor expressed his desire to visit other countries if given the opportunity. He also mentioned his interest in exploring photography.
The press conference ended after 20 minutes, followed by a post-event for the fans where autograph signing took place.
It was also nice to see friends from other media outlets who also attended the press conference.
Hwang Min-hyun is also a former member of the boy groups Wanna One and NU'EST.
