YOU & I - Park Bom 1st Fan Concert in Manila

Just one week after Minzy's Glee concert, another former member of 2NE1, Park Bom, arrived in Manila for her first solo concert titled "You and I Park Bom 1st Fan Concert in Manila." The event was presented by Neuwave Events and Productions and took place on June 10, 2023, at the New Frontier Theater.

This is my first time watching Park Bom perform live, as I missed the Popstival event last year due to a family emergency.

The fan meeting started at 7 PM, during which Park Bom performed 2NE1's hit song "Fire," causing the audience to scream and cheer for her. Park Bom performed her own songs as well as a few hits from 2NE1, including "Lonely," which created a nostalgic experience for everyone in attendance.

Compared to Minzy's concert, the setup for Park Bom's concert is different because the media were provided with seats. The event is primarily a fan meeting, during which Park Bom also danced and participated in games and activities with selected fans on stage.

I began listening to K-pop during Park Bom's era, alongside other popular groups such as SNSD, Big Bang, Kara, T-ara, and SHINee. This is why I thoroughly enjoyed attending her first-ever fan meet in Manila.

Park Bom was moved to tears upon watching the surprise video tribute from her fans. She truly felt the love of her fans who have supported her since the beginning. 

Park Bom didn't disappointed her fan as the fan meet was a success and everyone who attended the event is happy.

She promised to return with the rest of the 2NE1 members in the future, which is something we should look forward to.
