I only cover important games this current UAAP season and this would be my third coverage for two games, first one is FEU vs NU and the lastly Ateneo vs La Salle.
The games were held at Smart Araneta Coliseum from 4 PM to 9 PM.
NU vs FEU
Both teams are on a winning streak so this is a must cover game.
FEU started the game strong leading as much as 19 points thanks to the hot shooting of Bryan Sajonia who finished the game with 27 points.
NU was really determined to win the game as they were able to make stops in the second half.
The NU Bulldogs defeated the FEU Tamaraws, 71-60.
Team captain Patrick Yu led the charge for the Bulldogs with 15 points, 6 assist and 3 rebounds as they stopped FEU's 4 game winning streak.
DLSU vs Ateneo
Ateneo controlled the game as they out rebounded La Salle throughout the game.
La Salle desperately tried to catch up but Ateneo was able to make stops in the last period.
The Blue Eagles got their revenge against rival La Salle 68-54.
Ange Kouame led the Blue Eagles with 11 points, 14 rebounds, 5 blocks and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Evan Nelle is the only player for the Green Archers in double figures with 15 points.
La Salle is also missing the service of star guard Schonny Winston due to calf injury.
It's been a while since my last cover in Araneta Coliseum and it was nice to see my fellow photographers Marlo (Spin.PH) and Tristan (Inquirer).
Photos taken using Nikon D750 for ABS-CBN Sports.
