Ripples for Hope 2022

Pulp Live World had another successful K-event called Ripples for Hope 2022 which involves fan activities in the afternoon and the concert in the evening. The event was held on Saturday, November 26 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The friendship event started around noon where 19 K-pop fandoms participated in the group activities battling for amazing prices from Pulp Live World, while the concert and awarding will start at 7 PM.

I wasn't able to cover the fan event but I was able to cover the concert. I arrived around 5 PM and was able to register and get my media ID. I also covered the event with friends from Kmusify (Micah and Ken) and Rinna from Pulp.

Fans also started arriving in the venue looking forward to watch EVERGLOW, MOMOLAND and AKMU.

CONCERT

The event started with the South Korean girl group which was formed  on 2019. EVERGLOW is composed of six members E:U, Sihyeon, Mia, Onda, Aisha and Yiren. Unfortunately, Yiren is not present in the event.

EVERGLOW performed four songs which started with La Di Da and followed by ADIOS.

The girl group finished their performance with DUN DUN and PIRATE.

MOMOLAND

Another South Korean girl group who is famous around the world and also in the country because of their hits "Bboom Bboom" and "BAAM". The group has visited the Philippines several times.

MOMOLAND is currently composed of six members Ahin, Hyebin, Jane, JooE, Nancy and Nayun. They started with their song Yummy Yummy Love followed by Ready or Not.

The girl group then performed Wrap me in Plastic

Then followed by their hits "Bboom Bboom" and "BAAM".

AKMU

The most awaited artist is AKMU (Akdong Musician) is a South Korean sibling duo consist of Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Su-hyun. The duo debuted under YG Entertainment on April 2014.

The duo started with their songs Hey kid, Close your eyes followed by NAKKA then DINOSAUR.

The crowd also enjoyed the next songs HOW PEOPLE MOVEDo not cross your leg, Love Loss and How can I love the heartbreak, you're the one I love.

It was surreal watching AKMU as I am only watching them on Youtube before and Lee Su-hyun's collaborations with Henry, Rose and other artist.

They performed LAST GOODBYE followed by GIVE LOVE.

To wrap up the night, AKMU performed 200% and Let's take time.

Big thanks to Micah of Kmusify for lending me her 150-500mm lens.

Big thanks to Pulp Live World for making this event possible and for letting us cover the event.
