Happy Birthday Wifey

We celebrated my wife's birthday and also our bf/gf anniversary by staying at Microtel Mall of Asia. We did check the other hotels in Manila like Conrad, Solaire, Okada and City of Dreams but price is not in our budget as we are still finishing some bills from our house.

We booked a Grab car from our house to our hotel and arrived around 12 noon. Kudos to Microtel for allowing us to check-in early as check-in time starts at 2 PM.

This is our first time here in Microtel and I can say that the hotel is nice plus our room has a good view of Manila Bay. 

IKEA 

After resting for a bit in our hotel, we went to IKEA Mall of Asia to checkout the place and also to have our late lunch.  

It is our first time here and there's a lot of people inside especially in the Swedish Restaurant.

The line was really long but it was worth the wait. We tried their famous meatballs, Pasta, Chicken, Salmon, cakes and refillable drinks. 

We did enjoy our meal and I can say that the line is worth the wait. Price is a not bad as well as it cost us 1,350 pesos.

After having an awesome meal at IKEA, we went back to our hotel for a dip at the pool as my son Jerrick would like to swim.

The view from Microtel's rooftop is really nice as well.

Around 7 PM we went back to Mall of Asia to have dinner at Yabu.

We walked around Mall of Asia then went back to our hotel.

We wanted to walk around SM By the Bay but we are too tired from our activities so we decided to rest and call it a day. The view from our window is amazing.

November 24

Happy Birthday Mommy! We woke up around 9AM to avail our free buffet breakfast at Millies (located also at Microtel).

There's a lot of food choices  and we did enjoy the cornbeef, cereals and bread.

After a heavy breakfast we went back to our room to rest then went to the pool area to swim again before our checkout.

We checked out at 12 noon and left our things to the hotel as our ride to Laguna is still at 7 PM. It was also an awesome experience at Microtel Mall of Asia from the friendly staff, good food and nice amenities.

VIKINGS

We had lunch at Vikings Mall of Asia. As expected the venue is crowded but we were able to enjoy the food. 

There's a lot of choices as well from food and drinks.

MOVIE Time

After lunch we went to Mall of Asia to watch a movie at IMAX, unfortunately we already watched Wakanda Forever last week which is the only movie available at IMAX.

We watched Disney's Strange World as Jerrick wanted to watch this film after seeing the preview last week.

The movie is amazing as Jerrick enjoyed the movie. The cinema is also nice and the seats are comfortable.

We went to Fullybooked S Maison where Jerrick bought two Diary of a Wimpy Kid books while I got a Rent a Girlfriend Vol. 1 Manga and Bright by Jessica Jung book.

We didn't want to walk around the mall and just decided to kill time while having coffee at Starbucks S Maison as it is near Microtel to get our baggage.

Our ride from Manila to Laguna arrived around 7 PM and we safely arrived home around 8:30 PM.

Happy Birthday again to my wife Enie and thank you for all your love and support to me and Jerrick. We had a wonderful time bonding and looking forward for more birthdays that we will be spending together as a family in the future.
