2022 Premiere Volleyball League Reinforced Conference Press Conference

Volleyball never stops here in the Philippines as the PVL will be back with with it's Reinforced Conference on October 8 featuring international guest players to boost the squad and makes the games more intense and exciting to watch.


People from the media was invited to attend the press conference for the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference on October 5 at the Discovery Suites Manila.


Leading the press conference are Sir Tony Boy Liao (Tournament Director, PVL), Sir Ricky Palou (President, SVGMI), Ms. Sienna Olaso (FVP, Cignal TV) and Ms. Jessa Coson (Manager, Smart)


The press conference was attended by representatives, coach, team import and team captain from each of the nine teams who will be joining the tournament.


Here are the teams joining the tournament this conference. 

Akari Power Chargers 

Michelle Cobb and Prisilla Rivera, 6'1 outside spiker and three-time Olympian for Dominican Republic 


Cherry Tiggo Crossovers

Mylene Paat with Jelena Cvijovic, 6'1 outside spiker from Montenegro who played overseas since 2011 in Serbia, Romania, Greece and Turkey


Choco Mucho Flying Titans

Bea De Leon and Odina Aleyeva, 6'1 outside spiker and national team member of Azerbaijan who led the team to the 2016 European Volleyball League and 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games titles. 


Cignal HD Spikers

Rachel Daquis and Tai Bierria, 6'1 opposite spiker from the United States who played for Memphis University and New Mexico University and played in Finland. 


Creamline Cool Smashers 

Alyssa Valdez and Yeliz Basa, a 6'2 opposite spiker from Turkey. She played for the national team of Turkey and won the gold medal at the 2014 European Volleyball League. 


F2 Logistics

Lindsay Stalzer, 6'1 outside spiker from the United States and played for Cignal, Foton ad Petron here in the Philippines. 


Petro Gazz Angels

Chie Saet and Lindsay Vander Weide, 6'3 outside hitter from the United States who played for the University of Oregon before playing in France, Hungary and Greece. 


PLDT High Speed Hitters

Mika Reyes and Elena Savkina-Samoilenko, 6'4 outside spiker from Russia. She last played for Mershin B. Sehir Bld in Turkey. 


United Auctioneers-Army

Jovelyn Gonzaga and Laura Condotta, 5'11 outside hitter who represented Canada in local and international beach volleyball tournaments.


Very excited with the conference with the imports and do not forget that F2 Logistics will be back and joining the tournament and new team Akari Power Chargers to make the tournament more interesting.

I was able to talk to returning import Lindsay Stalzer and she said that it was nice to be back in the country because of the culture, fans and the food.

Opening will start on October 8 at Santa Rosa Sports Complex. First game starts at 2:30 PM.
