Manila Ocean Park 2022

It's nice to be back in Manila as the last time that I was here was 3 years ago before the pandemic.

My brother and his wife is going back to Singapore and they asked us we would like to join them at Manila Ocean Park since Jerrick wanted to go back so we then agreed to join. 

For safety though it's expensive, we did travel from Laguna to Manila Ocean Park via Grab car. Wr arrived around 11:30 AM and decided to have lunch first.

After a heavy and satisfying meal at Gerry's Grill, we started to our tour.

World of Creepy Crawlies

We did check the different insects and reptiles in this tour including snakes, lizards, spiders, cockroach and more. 

Super Toy Collection

This was not here the last time we visited Manila Ocean Park, it features the collections of Herbert Chavez including toys, comics, memorabilias and more.

Jellies Dancing Sea Fairies

One of my favorite spot here in Ocean Park but this time, the Jelly Fish are lesser than before.

Trails to Antarctica - Penguin Exhibit

My first time  to get a pass for this and it's nice to see live penguins. We would like to buy tickets for Jerrick and Zeq to interact with the Penguins but the line is very long as it will consume our time for our tour today.

Trails to Antarctica - Christmas Village

Since it is summer and it is very hot outside, this spot is the best place to cooldown and rest. Christmas lights, Christmas Village and Trees are on display.

We did stay here for a bit to cooldown and rest.  Jerrick and Zeq also bought a bubble gun.

Oceanarium

One of the main attraction here in Ocean Park as it has a big aquarium where different marine life can be seen.

I also noticed that there are a lot of visitors today even though it's a weekday.

We did rest for a bit and bought some food and drinks. My left knee and feet are feeling tired from walking around the park and good thing we were able to rest. 

All Star Bird Show

Around 4:30 PM we watched the bird show though it was very hot as we wasn't able to enter the venue early to get seats under the roof.

The show featured intelligent birds like an eagle, macaws, cockatoos and doves. 

Sea Lion Show

Following the bird show is the Sea Lion Show where two Sea Lions entertained the crowd with their tricks.

The show is also the last event for the day. We are planning to visit Luneta but since it will require us to walk and all of us are feeling tired, we just decided to book a Grab car on our way home.

We got home around 8:30 PM and very happy that Jerrick had fun today with us and with Zeq and his Tito and Tita.
