Ian Lariba's is the fifth athlete to have her jersey retired by DLSU joining Kurt Bachmann, Lim Eng Beng, Ren Ren Ritualo and Manilla Santos.
She had a stellar career in the UAAP being undefeated in her 5 years of playing and also being ranked as number one player in the country.
Sadly she passed away in September 2018 due to acute myeloid lukemia.
I am very lucky to watch and cover Ian Lariba's game in the UAAP for ABS-CBN Sports.
