Former 2NE1 member Minzy rocks the UAAP Opening Ceremony

The K-pop fever hasn't stopped in the Philippines. South Korean artist visits the Philippines every now and then due to the large fan based here and there's more artist to come this year.

Last month it was announced that South Korean girl group MOMOLAND will grace the UAAP Season 81 opening but due to their schedule, MOMOLAND was pulled out from the event. Many fans were sad and disappointed but just last week it was announced that former 2NE1 member Minzy will perform in the UAAP Season 81 opening which of course made the fans excited.

Minzy whose real name is Gong Min-ji is a singer and songwriter and began her career as a member of the famous South Korean girl group 2NE1 which debuted year 2009 and left the group year 2016 to pursue a solo career.

Minzy said that she can still remember the last time she was at Mall of Asia Arena which was 2014 for the 2NE1 Manila concert.

She performed a few songs that entertained the crowd.
