Happy 9th Birthday Jerrick

First and foremost,  me and my wife are thankful to God for giving us a bright and loving son.  We are very happy that our efforts are all worth seeing that Jerrick is growing up well and he also studies hard in school.

Since his birthday is always one of the most important dates in the year,  we celebrated it  for almost four day.

Day 1 (August 15)

The original plan is to have a simple kiddie party at home where we will invite family members and Jerrick's friend from our subdivision.  Unfortunately,  the COVID19 cases are rising again so we decided to cancel the party for safety purposes.

We just decided to give out food to some of our neighbors.

Day 2 (August 16)

For today,  the plan is to have lunch with Mom,  my brother and her fiancee Tin. We ate at Katsu Sora located in Ayala Malls Solenad.

After enjoying the delicious food,  we went to Paseo de Santa Rosa and bought Jerrick shoes at Adidas Outlet store as he needs it in school.

My mom, brother and her fiancee also bought Jerrick shirts from Nike as their gift to him.

Also got myself a Nike body/waist bag (Advance Birthday Gift).

Lastly, we had coffee at Starbucks Paseo de Santa Rosa to rest.

It would be better if my brother Raymond and his family is also here but they already migrated to Canada last week. Looking forward to see them again in the future.

Day 3 (August 17)

My wife booked an overnight stay at Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay, we arrived in the hotel around 1:30 PM. It's been a while since we have been in Tagaytay.

Jerrick was surprised with the birthday greetings setup in the room waiting for him and a cake.

We were able to upgrade our room that has a veranda and has a nice view of the Taal Lake.

The view of the Taal Volcano is really beautiful and relaxing.

After resting for a bit, we went around Tagaytay to have lunch. We decided to dine at Jaytee's Filipino Cuisine as we are. craving for Bulalo.

Skyranch

After dinner, we went to Skyranch and had Jerrick enjoyed the rides.

Entrance fee is 100 pesos per head and the ferry's wheel ride cost 150 pesos per person.

We also tried the mini roller coaster and carousel then bought few souvenirs before going back to our hotel to rest as it is already starting to rain.

For dinner we went to JT's Manukan and enjoyed their famous grilled chicken.

We watched few episodes of K-drama before calling it a day.

The view of the Taal Lake at night is also breathtaking.

Day 4 (August 18)

We woke up early around 7:30 AM for our breakfast buffet  at Cafe Veranda.

After enjoying our breakfast, we went to walk around the hotel and also checked the view again.

Around 9 AM we went to the pool area to swim. The water is freezing cold.

There is a lifeguard and clean towels were provided.

After enjoying the pool, we went back to our room and packed our things, take a shower and charge our phones as we are checking out at 12 o'clock.

It was an amazing stay at Taal Vista Hotel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel and rooms are well maintained.

We were supposed to visit the Puzzle Mansion but it is closed during weekdays and is only open from Friday to Sunday. We then had lunch at Bulalo Capital.

We had Bulalo again for today just like yesterday. The Bulalo here in Tagaytay is really delicious as it fits the cold weather.

Bag of Beans (Main)

To kill time while waiting for our rented car, we went to Bag of Beans main branch. This is our first time here and the place is really nice and big.

The place is open and the only issue is the signal is weak and the flying small insects but overall it was a great dine-in experience.

It was raining again and good thing we decided to stay in Bag of Beans.  The car we rented arrived around 5 PM and we got home around 7:30 PM.

We are thankful again for all the blessings and for this family trip and activities that we had.  Thank you God for keeping us safe and healthy. Happy Birthday again son and me and your mom loves you so much.
