Filipino-American NBA star Jalen Green is back in Manila for Adidas to meet his Filipino fans and to promote the brand as it's new global ambassador.
It can be remembered that Jalen Green caught the eye of the Filipino fans during his previous here for the NBTC league where he played against the best Filipino high school ballers like Kai Sotto. I have seen him play back then and he is already an amazing player.
His 2-day tour started on (August 11/Thursday) with a press conference and consumer meet and greet at the Adidas Brand Center in Makati then followed by a One of One Tribute: Manila Culture Experience from 2 PM to 9 PM where there is a graffiti wall reveal, basketball games and sneaker and hoops talk with Jalen Green. Unfortunately, I was not assigned yesterday to cover the event but was assigned for the Day 2 of his event at Shangri-La The Fort.
Day 2 (August 12/Friday)
Our team from ABS-CBN Sports were provided 10 minutes to have an exclusive interview with Jalen Green at the Shangri-La Hotel The Fort.
Our team head Migs Bustos interviewed Jalen for ABS-CBN News and ABS-CBN Sports for 10 minutes. Jalen was asked several questions, he mentioned that the toughest NBA player is Kyrie Irving.
After the interview we were allowed to have our items signed. Migs had his Basketball signed while my cards were signed by Jalen.
The best part is we had a group photo with Jalen Green then I had a selfie.
One of the best coverage and Jalen Green is very down to earth and very nice and same with his family who is also there to support him in his tour. Hoping to see Jalen Green improved more in the NBA.
Another amazing coverage of ABS-CBN Sports team with Migs Bustos and mobile correspondents Kyla and Mariz.
