Finally got the opportunity to cover one of the biggest sporting event which is the South East Asian Games or SEA Games. The 30th SEA Games was held here in the Philippines from November 30 to December 11, 2019 but there are games that started as early as November 25.
I was assigned to cover mostly games here in Manila for ABS-CBN Sports while my fellow photographer is in Clark, Pampanga to cover the games there.
Also got my ID to cover the events and enter the venues.
Sharing here my daily coverage and happenings throughout the SEA Games event days.
November 28 (UP College of Human Kinetics Gym)
My first assignment is to cover the Floorball games at UP College of Human Kinetics Gym in Diliman which I am not familiar with. Me and my fellow photographer Marlo met at Centris Mall in Quezon City and from there we took a cab.
We were asked to register first even though we already have an official ID so we can cover the events for the day.
To be honest this is my first time watching a Floorball game as I am not familiar with it. It's like Hockey without ice.
