To celebrate my 35th birthday, we booked for an overnight stay at La Bella Boutique Hotel Tagaytay.
A week before our Tagaytay trip, I started feeling sick and experienced the worst sore throat ever that it is really painful to eat and drink. There is also pain in my ear area and also headache.
After a few days of resting, I am still feeling sick but we still decided to push through our plan as the booking for the place is already been paid.
We arrived at La Bella Tagaytay via van from Laguna around 1 PM.
We decided to rest for a bit then had a late lunch at the Japanese restaurant located inside La Bella's vicinity. Unfortunately, I am struggling eating even just the miso soup. I went back to our room to just rest and just let me wife and son finish their food.
We just spent the afternoon in the room watching TV and resting. Then we went to the nearest restaurant that serves Bulalo for our dinner around 8 PM.
It was also nice to see one of my best buddies in college Francis who went there to meet us. He also accompanied us to the drug store as my wife bought a mouth spray for me then also back to La Bella.
The next day I am feeling better with the throat spray that we bought but the pain is still there. We woke up early as Jerrick wanted to swim in the pool.
We then checked out by 12 noon and went to Sky Ranch Tagaytay for Jerrick to enjoy some of the rides.
After Sky Ranch, we went to Paseo de Santa Rosa and visited the Nike store where I bought some items.
We then had dinner at Paseo and ended our day by having coffee in the nearest Starbucks.
October 12
The next day, we went to the new Ayala Mall Manila Bay and check out the place. Most stores are still close so we just decided to have dinner at Peri-Peri.
We then went to Timezone where Jerrick played and also we tried the 4D.
Very thankful to God for giving me another year of life and also for making me feel better now.
